Application
Methyl glycolate can be widely used in many fields such as chemical industry, medicine, pesticide, feed, fragrance and dye. Methyl glycolate is easily soluble in nitrocellulose, cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate propionate and polyvinyl acetate. It is also an excellent solvent for many celluloses, chemicalbook resins and rubbers. Methyl glycolate can be hydrolyzed with other alcohols to obtain different esters.
