Application
1. Cholesterol can be used as an emulsifier, a raw material for artificial bezoar, vitamin D, liquid crystal, and synthetic hormones, and is also used as an analytical reference for biochemical research.
2. It can also be used for cephalin cholesterol flocculent tests. Cholesterol is the main component of biological membranes, and about 25% of total cephalin is cholesterol.
