Application
1. Used as a waterproofing, anti-adhesive, and foam stabiliser in textiles, rubber, leather, paper, and building materials; also serves as a cross-linking agent for chain-like cross-linked compounds
2. Serves as a raw material for producing block copolymers
3. Under the action of metal salt catalysts, it cross-links to form a film at low temperatures, creating a waterproof coating on various surfaces. It functions as a waterproofing agent for materials including textiles, glass, ceramics, paper, leather, metals, cement, and marble; particularly effective for fabric waterproofing.
4. When used in combination with methyl hydroxy silicone oil emulsion, methyl hydrogen silicone oil emulsion provides waterproofing while maintaining fabric breathability. It enhances tear strength, abrasion resistance, and stain resistance, improves fabric hand feel and sewing performance. Additionally, it serves as an anti-adhesive release agent and cross-linking agent for paper.
