Application
This product is a UV absorber suitable for many plastics such as polyvinyl chloride, ABS resin, acrylic resin, polyurethane, melamine resin, cellulose resin, etc. This product is a benzophenone containing two adjacent hydroxyl groups, which has the strongest ability to absorb ultraviolet light and has a strong absorption effect on ultraviolet light with wavelengths of 330-370nm. The disadvantage is that it also absorbs some visible light, making the product slightly yellow. The product has good compatibility with resin, and the general dosage is 0.25-3%. It also has a good light stabilization effect in paint. The oral LD50 for rats is 10000mg/kg, which is non irritating to the skin and eyes.
