Application
Copper chelating agent. Determine the precipitant for chromium. Reagents for detecting certain metals, sugars, aldehydes, and ketones. Preparation of rat poison. This product is an organic synthetic intermediate used for the synthesis of anti tuberculosis drugs such as thiourea and sulfonamide drugs, as well as rodenticides. It can also be used as an analytical reagent for quantitative analysis of chromium and identification of aldehydes and ketones.
