Application

Potassium ferrocyanide can be used in printing plate making, oxidation, bleaching and colouring of colour film, photographic washing and developing, making blueprint paper, pharmaceuticals (antimicrobial synergist, PMP, etc.), and blue scribing powder for chemical book cutting. It is also used in electroplating, tanning, paper making and fertiliser. It is also used as aniline black for dyeing in printing and dyeing industry, as carburising agent in iron and steel industry, and as molybdenum ore flotation agent.
