Uses and production methods of p-Coumaric acid
Uses
1. Preservatives for food, cosmetics, and other products;
2. Cosmetics antioxidants and whitening ingredients;
3. Used for the synthesis of PHS, esolol, etc;
Production methods
The preparation method is to use acetyl salicylate as the raw material, react with diethyl malonate in acetonitrile solvent in the presence of magnesium chloride, add triethylamine, and react at 0 ℃ for 1 hour to obtain the product of (2-acetoxybenzoyl) diethyl malonate. Then, heat it to 50 ℃ in potassium hydroxide/methanol solution, react for 3 hours, and cyclize to obtain the product.
Alternatively, ethyl acetoacetate can be used as the starting material and reacted with acetyl salicylate chloride in isobutyl methyl ketone solvent in the presence of sodium hydroxide at 15-20 ° C for 3.5 hours to obtain the sodium salt of 2- (2-hydroxybenzoyl) acetoacetate. The reaction product is reacted with hydrochloric acid at 25-30 ° C for 30 minutes to obtain 3-acetyl-4-hydroxycoumarin, which is then heated in concentrated sulfuric acid at 90-95 ° C for 4 hours to obtain the product.
2-Hydroxyacetophenone can also be used as the raw material. In the presence of potassium carbonate, 5.88 MPa carbon dioxide is introduced into an autoclave, and the mixture is passed at room temperature for 15 hours. Then, it is kept at 60 ℃ for 15 hours to form 2-hydroxybenzene-3-oxopropionic acid, which is then cyclized to synthesize the product.
