Application
It is used as a terminator for emulsion polybutadiene styrene rubber and styrene butadiene latex, an industrial fungicide, a metal precipitant, a vulcanization accelerator for rubber products, and an agricultural insecticide. Sodium thiram is sodium N,N-dimethyldithiocarbamate, which is an intermediate for the fungicides thiram, ferrothiram, ammonium thiram, zinc thiram, and nickel thiram.
