Application
Tween 20 is an oil-in-water emulsifier that can be used as a solubilizer, diffusant, stabilizer, lubricant and antistatic agent. In oil production, it can be used as a paraffin inhibitor to remove wax deposits in oil wells; as a viscosity reducer, it can reduce the flow viscosity of crude oil to increase oil well production and transportation capacity. In medicine and daily chemicals, it is used as a solubilizer, penetrant and dispersant for medicines and cosmetics. Because Tween 20 has rust resistance and lubricity, it is used to prepare rust-proof lubricating oil and rust-removing and grease-removing oil.
