Application
Organic synthetic raw materials can be oxidized to produce azelaic acid, ammoniated to produce nonamine, and pressurized to produce nonanol. Nonanoic acid is also used in the production of nonanoic acid ester plasticizers and as a drying agent for paints. Azonic acid has a light fat and coconut aroma. It is allowed to use as a food spice according to GB2760-86 in China, and is mainly used to prepare coconut and berry essence.
