Application
A cationic broad-spectrum antibacterial drug belonging to the biguanide family. Its mechanism of action involves disrupting the bacterial cell membrane. It is also a disinfectant. It has a strong bactericidal effect on Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and fungi, and is also effective against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
