Application:
3-Isocyanatopropyltrimethoxysilane is used as a cross-linker and adhesion promoter in adhesives and sealants. Can adhere to a variety of substrates, common and uncommon; has excellent wet adhesion properties on glass, metal and other inorganic substrates; can also adhere well to difficult-to-adhere substrates such as nylon and other plastics product. It can be rapidly hydrolyzed in the presence of atmospheric humidity and has very good thermal stability, chemical stability and UV stability. Suitable polymers: acrylics, silicones (Si), PU-prepolymers, etc. It is widely used in high-end polyurethane sealants and modified polyurethane resins. It can also be used as a tackifier for room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber and a component of varnish resin.
Storage：
Store indoors away from light and keep ventilated, cool and dry. Make sure the lid is well sealed and can effectively isolate the air. Moisture in the air will react with it, leading to hydrolysis, polymerization and deterioration.
