Application
Benzalkonium chloride is a cationic surfactant and a non-oxidizing bactericide. It has broad-spectrum and efficient sterilization and algae killing capabilities. It can effectively control the reproduction of bacteria and algae and the growth of slime in water, and has good slime control properties. It has peeling effect and certain dispersion and penetration effect, and also has certain oil removal, deodorization ability and corrosion inhibition effect. Medical benzalkonium chloride is also used as an antiseptic in band-aids.
