Application
Used as an acylation and esterification reagent, it participates in the acylation and esterification reactions with aniline and phenol. Trimethylacetic anhydride is also used in the synthesis of solid-phase oligonucleotides and the kinetic resolution of racemic 2-Chemicalbook hydroxy-γ-butyrolactone with diphenylacetic acid, for the production of cyano-4,N-tert-butoxycarbonylpiperidine, and also in the synthesis of solid-phase oligonucleotides.
