Application
Quercetin dihydrate may serve as an organic sensitive reagent for the fluorometric determination of aluminium and the photometric determination of iron, tin, and zirconium. It functions as a biochemical reagent and an inhibitor of mitochondrial adenosine triphosphatase. It finds application in pharmaceuticals. When mixed with epichlorohydrin (3-chloro-1,2-epoxypropane), it forms epoxy resins.
