Purification and identification of alpha-Arbutin

The sample obtained by the reaction is first extracted with ethyl acetate, then extracted with n-butanol, evaporated and collected by a rotary evaporator, and the obtained sample is then centrifuged, and the supernatant is analyzed by HPLC and compared with the HPLC chromatogram of the α-arbutin standard. The sample and α-arbutin have the same retention time, and it is preliminarily inferred whether the sample contains α-arbutin. The extracted and purified product is then identified by the positive ion mode of LC-ESI-MS/MS. By comparing the relative molecular mass of the product with the relative molecular mass of the α-arbutin standard, it can be determined whether the product is α-arbutin.
