Application
Methyl palmitate is a colorless liquid or crystal (precipitated in ethanol at -15°C). It is easily soluble in alcohol, acetone, chloroform and benzene. It is soluble in ether but insoluble in water. It is used as an emulsifier, wetting agent and stabilizer and plasticizers; methyl palmitate is a substance that is very common in nature and has a large content. It is the main component of some edible trees, vegetables, medicinal plants, ornamental plants, various wild plants, etc., and is also the main component of some edible trees. One of the main components of animal fats, such as the fatty oil of mole crickets, contains a certain amount of methyl hexadecanoate. It is also a component of interbiological pheromones, biodiesel, and raw materials for cosmetics (emulsifiers, medicines).
