Application
Used in organic synthesis. This product is a low-volatility solvent. It is used as a solvent for nitrocelluloid, artificial lacquer, natural and synthetic resins, and can also be used as a leather colorant, emulsion stabilizer, paint thinner, paint remover, and dyeing agent for textile fibers. Additionally, it is an intermediate in the production of acetates.
