Application
Imidazolidinyl urea is a new generation of cosmetic preservatives used in the cosmetics industry. It is the most widely used preservative besides parabens. It has a broad antibacterial spectrum and is compatible with almost all cosmetic raw materials. It is used at a concentration of 0.05% to 0.5%, with an optimal pH of 3 to 9. It can be added at any stage of cosmetic manufacturing and exhibits a synergistic effect when combined with parabens.
