Application

1. Glyoxal can be used as a finishing agent for viscose fibers, an insoluble binder for polyvinyl alcohol, starch, etc., as well as a raw material for paints, dyes and medicines; it can also be used as a pharmaceutical intermediate, fabric finishing agent and dye intermediate.

2. Glyoxal is a raw material for preparing imidazole, which is an intermediate for the fungicides imazalil, prochloraz, etc. In addition, glyoxal is mainly used in medicine, textiles, building materials, papermaking, daily chemicals, coatings and adhesive materials etc., and can be used as dye intermediates.
