Application:

1. The fourth type of color developer series used for developing color films, commonly known as CD-4, is chemically referred to as 4- (N-ethyl-N-hydroxyethyl) -2-methylphenylenediamine sulfate. During color development, the oxidizing agent reduces the silver atoms in the silver halide crystal and combines with the color to form colored dye molecules.

2. Used as a color developer.

3. Used as a high-temperature rapid developer for oil soluble color films in film and photography departments.
