Used in the manufacture of polyester fibers, polyester electrical appliances, unsaturated polyester resins, polyester glazes, polyurethane foams, and in the production of lubricants and hydraulic fluids.
In addition to being used to synthesize PETG, it is also used as an intermediate for the synthesis of saturated polyester and unsaturated polyester in coatings, inks, adhesives, insulation materials and some special purposes.
